Maximum sizes for images and Canvas Dimensions

The resolution of your Images you upload to Ribbet OR your project's canvas dimensions will depend on the following:

You have a FREE PLAN


Having a free plan means that the resolution of your images you upload or the projects you create will have a maximum resolution of 2048 Pixels (PX) in either height or width.


In other unit types (in either height or width):

  • Approx. 16 INCHES (IN)
  • Approx. 40 Centimeters (CM)
  • Approx. 400 Millimetres (MM)

If you have an Account with a PRO PLAN


Having an account with a PRO Plan means that the resolution of your images you upload or the projects you create will have a maximum resolution of 4096 Pixels (PX) in either height or width.


In other unit types, this translate to:

  • Approx. 32 INCHES (IN)
  • Approx. 80 Centimeters (CM)
  • Approx. 800 Millimetres (MM)

Resizing images you've uploaded


If you upload any images that is larger than 4096 PX in either height or width (EX: let's say 6000 x4000 PX) it will be resized to the max allowed resolution for purely performance purposes.


As mentioned above, If you start your account on a FREE plan you will notice that you images have a maximum resolution of 2048. However, if you upgrade to a PRO PLAN you will notice that all your existing images or projects can be converted/resized to a max resolution of 4096.
