Resetting or Changing your Password

Whether your forgot your password or you want to update it, both options should take you no more than a couple of minutes.

Resetting your password


You find yourself logged out of your Ribbet account and you forgot your password; not a problem!


Step 1: Head over to the Password Reset Page


Step 2: Input the email associated to the account you are having issues logging into and check the "I'm not a robot" checkbox.


Step 3: Click on the Reset Button and check your inbox; you should receive an email from Ribbet with a Reset password link. If you don't see it in your inbox within a couple of minutes check your spam folder or the email you inputted was incorrect.


Step 4: In the Email, Click on the Reset Password button or click / copy the link Link in the email; this will direct you to Reset your Password.


Note: This link expires after [X time]. If you don't click the link or complete the process to reset your password within that timeframe you may need to repeat the steps again.


Step 5: Once you click the link and you are redirected to the Reset Password form, make sure it is minimum 6 characters! For security purposes, make sure to include a minimum of 1 upper case letter, 1 digit, and 1 symbol). EXAMPLE: Ushe3#)


Step 6: If you've successfully followed the precious steps, you will get a confirmation that your password was reset and to sign in again with the new credentials.

Changing your password


If you are signed into your Ribbet account, you can change your password at any time from your Account Settings.


Step 1: Head over to Ribbet's homepage and click on the top right profile icon


Step 2: Click on Settings


Step 3: Click on Change Password


Step 4: For security reasons, we will ask you to input the current password before inputting the new one. Once you do, you will need to input a new password that is minimum 6 characters (make sure to include a minimum of 1 upper case letter, 1 digit, and 1 symbol).


Step 5: Once completed, the new password will take into effect for any future logins on any devices.
